Oprah is gone!

It seems a little silly to me- that a country would spend so much money on trying to impress a TV host.  Not only that, but a bunch of the people would go silly in the head just to see them.  Oprah has left Australia!  While some of our deluded citizens are thrust into a state of mourning, I say "Good riddance!"

I fail to see the necessity to pander to a persons every desire.  Why would the leader of a country feel it is so important to be seen smiling next to a television personality.  It is ridiculous- I am ashamed of the way we must gravitate towards fluff and bubble, and not see the real issues (like border protection, and how to stop these boat loads of illegals making a run for our shores.)

In all honesty, I think our country has gone mad!
